Volunteer Budget
Volunteers are a crucial part of your club and it is important to allocate funding to support them. The Volunteer Coordinator, in conjunction with the treasurer, should determine the costs associated with volunteers each year and devise a plan to cover these costs, be it through the club budget, specific fees, donations or with potential grant funding.

Referring to your club’s Strategic Plan or the Volunteer Action Plan available in this tool, will help identify just what might be achieved with extra funding.

Recruitment:

Training:
- pay for an external organisation to deliver a training course
- send volunteers to attend a training course
- travel costs associated with a volunteer attending a training course
- educational resources (books, DVDs etc.)
